1. Es Pujols, Formentera, Spain

If you want a small, idyllic beach to visit in Spain, then Es Pujols is where you need to be! With white sand covering the beach’s surface and turquoise water for you to dip in, you can find your inner peace while spending it with your loved ones. The atmosphere of the beach brings you tranquility and calmness as you can also take a walk or ride a bike along the coast, absorbing the scenery. Lounges and umbrellas are also available for you to rent, so sit and relax with a drink in your hand.

Moreover, after a relaxing day at the beach, you can head to town as it is only a few steps away and still lively after dark! You can walk along the promenade to visit the markets where you can buy souvenirs to remember this trip. Plus, the endless choice of restaurants to eat at will take some time for you to choose; nevertheless, you will be full and happy, which is the perfect way to end the day.

2. Porto Giunco, Sardinia, Italy

Italy has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, and one we recommend you check out is the Porto Giunco beach in Sardinia, where you experience the Caribbean-like vibe. The long stretch of the beach is covered with soft white and pink hue sands and clear blue water that just encapsulates how beautiful nature works. The beach is large, so you can explore the beach and who know, you will find a hidden gem.

Besides that, Porto Giunco treasures its marine life, and some fun activities can be done, such as snorkelling and diving, where you can explore the wonders of the sea. If you are up for an adventure, you can take a hike to the Porto Giunco Tower, see the breathtaking view of the whole beach, and stand there in awe. On the way, you will probably encounter a little lake and discover pink flamingos as their habitats reside there, and it is a sight you definitely do not want to miss.

3. Navagio, Zakynthos, Greece

Navagio beach, known as the “Shipwreck beach” in Greece, is a place worth visiting as it has the wow factor and will create a memory you don’t want to forget. A ship is located on the beach as it was from a shipwreck that happened in the past, adding a great story to the place. This beach is the epitome of a tropical getaway as the pristine blue water will grab your attention and the high cliffs in the middle of the sea. The water is perfect for swimming in warm weather, or you can take a boat ride if you feel fancy.

There is a “lookout” place for tourists to come and see the whole Navagio beach view, and well, although it may sometimes be crowded, it is definitely worth giving it a chance. However, you can also walk around the area and discover many cliffs to have your own “lookout spot” and grab a photo opportunity. Always be careful not to do stunts near the cliff, as we do not want mishaps to happen. So, use the cool features in your camera phones, such as Android phones, to take memorable photos and reminisce them in the future.

4. Praia de Almograve, Portugal

Praia de Almograve beach is considered one the best beaches for families and kids in the area. The overview of the beach is crescent-shaped with golden sand and clear blue water with a set of rocks scattered along it which is not quite ideal for surfing.

However, take this opportunity to relax as the coast of the shore is wide, so you may take a spot and lay your towel wherever you like. You will enjoy the sound of the waves and sun kissing your skin but do not forget to apply sunblock as you need to protect it from any sun burns or damage.

A good thing about the place has a lot of parking spaces and nearby facilities which are very convenient and if you need anything. The beach is also right by Almograve town, where you can take a stroll and admire the view of the naturally rugged, stunning coastline. Within the city, you can continue to explore and enjoy excellent Portuguese restaurants available for you to try!

Saint Tropez is one of the famous spots in France, and the Pampelonne is the longest and most well-known beach there, so maybe unexpected celebrity sightings may come your way. This place will bring out the fancy in you where you can indulge the sun and sea underneath a parasol you rent while having an extravagant lunch after! Yachts and boats are also available for you to cruise around the island and have the best time of your life.

Pampelonne beach also offers a variety of water sports, such as jet skiing, banana boats, snorkeling and many more, so you can have a fun experience with friends and family. This is due to the calm waters and shallow depth, making playing water sports the perfect activity to participate in. Moreover, you can also play games on shore, such as playing volleyball while surrounded by white sand and blue-green water, making the visit totally worth it!

Those beaches look unreal! I wonder if all of them get very crowded in summer?

Thanks Patricia. I guess they are not as crowded as the ones in big cities like Barcelona
